Today, 22nd July 2026, marks a significant milestone as AAYK Football Academy proudly celebrates three remarkable years of nurturing talents, inspiring dreams, and contributing to the development of grassroots football in Osun State and Nigeria at large.
Founded on Saturday, 22nd July 2023, and officially unveiled at the Oba Agunlejika Grammar School Football Pitch, Ilesha, Osun State, AAYK Football Academy began with a clear vision, to discover, develop and empower young football talents while creating pathways for them to achieve success on and off the pitch.
Three years later, that vision has continued to flourish.
Our journey has been defined by resilience, sacrifice, unforgettable moments, invaluable lessons, and countless achievements. From our humble beginnings to earning the opportunity to compete in the Nationwide League One (NLO), Nigeria’s third-tier football league—we have continued to grow into a respected institution committed to excellence and youth development.
This anniversary is not only a celebration of how far we have come but also an opportunity to reflect on the rich heritage we are building together.
As a proud subsidiary of AAYK Nigeria Limited, the academy remains committed to its core mission of identifying exceptional young talents, providing quality football development, and creating opportunities that will help aspiring footballers reach the highest levels of the game.
On this special occasion, we express our heartfelt appreciation to the visionary founder and President of the Academy, the Chief Executive Officer of AAYK Nigeria Limited, Mr. Kolawole Ayomide Famomi, whose passion, leadership and unwavering commitment laid the foundation for this remarkable project and continue to drive its progress.
