Most members of the coaching staff serve in professional capacities, reflecting the club’s commitment to maintaining high standards in training, player welfare, and competitive performance.
Leading the technical crew is Head Coach Komolafe Oluwatayo, whose appointment marked a strategic step in strengthening the club’s technical direction and competitiveness in Nigeria’s Nationwide League One (NLO), the country’s third-tier football league. Under his leadership, the club’s senior team benefits from a well-coordinated technical and integrated support structure designed to enhance performance, tactical awareness, and player discipline.
At the academy level, Head Coach Adebayo Hamod oversees the development of young talents within the AAYK Football Academy. Working closely with the technical team, he ensures that emerging players receive the right guidance, mentorship, and training necessary to progress through the club’s development pathway.
The coaching philosophy of AAYK FC is built around a player-centric and age-appropriate training curriculum that aligns with internationally recognized Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) principles.
